4.3.11 LEGO Digital Designer
Well, there is one possible solution, and it comes in the form of a program called Mecabricks. Mecabricks is a web-based LEGO designer. What does that mean? It means that the software runs entirely in your web-browser. You need an internet connection for it all to work, but there’s nothing to load. Most importantly, it doesn’t matter what sort of device you have or what operating systems it runs. As long as it has a web browser that supports WebGL (which is most of them these days), it should work just fine.
May I ask you for a favor? Can you send me the installer somehow?
The pieces you want to use are selected from a floating menu which are well organized by category and size. The difference between real life and Lego Digital Designer however is that there is literally no limit to how many block you can use or the designs you can come up with. And if you want to show off, you can upload your design to an online gallery like a big kid - or even more amazing, order your design as the real thing.

You can start a new model or modify an existing one, such as a tractor, a helicopter, an airplane, a tank, or a ship. You can even filter Lego blocks to find them more easily.

It always baffled me why the thumbnails were rendered in 3D anyway - only time I'd notice was when I accidentally rotated one (and then, in a slightly OCD fashion, try to rotate it back exactly how it was before). LDraw is not a single program, but a parts library based upon the LDraw file-format, and a collection of programs that can use that part-library in some way (see Virtual Building). By using a list that maps LEGO element ids (or LEGO part numbers) to LDraw part numbers, LDD can create an LDraw file that can be read by other programs. The translation table for this mapping is a file called , in the LEGO Digital Designer folder (see Tips & Tricks). This is not a security update. Alle Angaben ohne Gewähr I had to delete the LDD folders from ~/Library/Application Support/, ~/Library/Caches/ and ~/Library/Preferences/ as well as the application itself to get it working, but version 4.2.5 does seem to be usable. Yay! I'll probably try the later versions once I've had a play.
